Cool Bunch of ideas..i hope you like it

Skill Drop List of your party members:

- When you click on any member of your party, small arrow button appears to the left of his name, when you click it make drop list of his skill bar.
- You can see which skill he/she is taking.
- You can’t see more than one member skill bar .
- This feature can’t be used outside the cities and outposts.

Advantages:
• Save time of arranging your team skill build.
• Prevent noobish act from some PUGS of bringing useless skills for certain build or mission.
• Know what other professions builds (if you didn’t play with it before) for certain builds..R spike, B spike, VIM...etc.
Example: you always play as R/W in R spike, you don’t know what the build of bonder in R spike team is and you want to play as bonder one day in R spike.

Team Skill Column:

- Next to each member in your party (in party window) small icon shows you which skill your every member player is using right now in the heat of the match or the mission.
- This feature just become activate outside cities and outpost.
Advantages:
• Synchronize between teammates to use your build more effectively.
• No more spamming “X is using resurrection signet on Y”, “X is using Heal party”…etc.
• Learn from your mistakes.
Sometimes using the wrong skill in the wrong time can drive your team for a loss, this idea can make you discuss with your m8s of which skill wasn’t suppose to be used in that certain of time.

Map Sticky Notes & Drawing Tool:

- Can make you put notes for some areas like best places of farming…ettins here, hydras there, found sup rune of absorption there….etc.
- You can draw your route of mission or bonus before you enter it, so you can’t lose bonus in your way to finish it.
- You can erase the notes or the drawing that you did anytime.

Advantages:
• Your farming becomes more efficient.
• No more minimize and maximize between GW and guildwiki.org.

Friends List Improvement:

1- Make the system remember what was your status last time you logged out.
2- Ability to categorize your friends list like ‘farming buddies list, HA buddies…etc.’
3- Ability to alert you with animation, sound or both that one of your friends has logged in/out.

Guild Improvements:

1- Ability to watch you friends while they are playing GvG.
2- Guild members population in roster.
3- Ability in guild hall to play card, board and puzzle games with each other.

Spirits Improvements:

1- Ability to see faded spirit active radius (of all your allied spirits), this feature active always.
2- Ability to click on certain enemy spirit to see its faded active radius.

Advantage:
• Know your limits and borders to move, don’t lure enemy outside the spirit range so the spirit become useless for you and vise versa.

PS 1: sorry for my english is not that good.
PS 2: playing card and board games may be not such good idea after i wrote it..coz i think A.Net doesn't want to keep their servers full all the time even with players doesn't want to play PVE or PVP..but i thought to leave it so i can know your opinions about that.

Enjoy..

I don't know my stuff about the technical area, and though i'd like to see guild observers in GvG, there needs to be a good counter explanation to this idea.

Kudos for the friends list ideas^^. Guild population is a MUST.

I feel that these additions would add a lot more functionality to the game and i agree with terra, guild population is needed badly

Also: ability to leave messages to friends when theyre not online

Mostly good ideas. The idea for being able to look at a team members skills is a bit intruding, players are already demanding and selfish, wile this may help you find what you want, it forces other players to bend to leader interest to be approved, that is a bit intrusive.

Being able to watch your team during a GvG is a tactical advantage, being able to monitor the entire arena, watch enemy players moves, and report to your teammates causes and unfair advantage, this is spying, and it is already very difficult to develope sneak attacks, this would be broken.

I realy like the idea for minor icons along the team menu showing your teammates actions, this would be very helpful and greatly improve strategy.

The faded indication of spirit effects arn't very funcitonal, it permenantly defaces the landscape if your using spirits, and it would either lack, or poorly represent the areas covered by multiple spirits. I'm sure there is a recognizable indication of your spirits effect if you test it, otherwise this would become a mosh of techncolor glows for a ritualist and ranger, amounting to nothing if you can't distinguish them. Also note, there are spells to move exsisting spirits.

Great list, very well thought out and written in a easy to read manner. A++!!

I have been longing for a way to mark on the map since the day I started playing. Although I wouldn't use it for farming...I would use it to find those pesky collectors that I always seem to forget where they stand.

so here's my SEAL OF APPROVAL good job!

I would suggest better means for in-game communication between players and guilds (off-line messages, social chat for player lfguild or guild lfmembers, guild join request, information search, ...).

No problem with any of it(although I don't care if none of it is implimented) except for the following(which are double /unsigned):

Won't be great, because people could log on as DND then start whispering friends, who can't respond.

If there's no ability to turn it off, this would just be extremely annoying. Also I don't think it's needed. When a friend logs on they'll maybe whisper? You can just hit N every few minutes to check. When someone logs off they'll probably tell you, and if they don't you won't care anyway.

You can already do this if they're in a high ranked guild. Besides it'd be an insane amount of work for ANET to do this with every friend in every guild.

Bad idea. You can do this over MSN or whatever. This just encourages people to sit around and not play guildwars.

check this topic for reactions on the first suggestion.

Skill Drop List of your party members: /notsigned. see above link for explanation.

Team Skill Column: /signed. fantastic idea.

Map Sticky Notes & Drawing Tool: /signed. usefull! (but not a must imo)

Friends List Improvement: I like the second idea of categorizing friends. But this is not Messenger, so don't exaggerate.

Guild Improvements: /notsigned. Come on, this is RPG, not messenger. Don't need to play games other then PvE/PvP/GvG in GW.

Spirits Improvements: /signed, but only viewable by yourself / the caster of the spirits.

I would prefer to keep my builds mine and mine alone. I think that this feature would only encourage people to watch other players and allow them to find a build that they like and easily copy it.

Added to that this would encourage people to be very picky as to who they do or do not allow into their groups; which would probably lead to a reduction in an open-mindedness about builds and who/what you'll allow to be brought along in your PUG.

I like the idea of less spamming of skills, however I don't think it'll necessarily reduce it. Considering that most of the time people who spam what skill they're using are usually targeting an enemy, over and over, in an attempt to get the rest of the team to target that one enemy. However, I do like the idea of knowing that someone is using a res so that people don't overlap and waste time.

But I can see how this can also allow people to insult or go balistic on someone who is using the wrong skill or is spamming a skill over and over.

I like the idea of being able to put notes or reminders on the map. However, I can recall good places to farm aswell as the types of drops on my own without this feature. But I'm sure that a lot of others would find this very usefull.

/signed for 1 and 2

I think organizing your friends list and a system to remember your status from when you last logged off would be nice. It'd be helpful if you want to play undisturbed and go in 'offline' mode but then need to change characters.

/not signed for 3

People can log on and off very quickly and frequently; it would probably become very annoying to have constant pop-ups and/or sounds that alert you if someone on your friends list goes on or offline constantly.

I'd like to watch my own guild battle if I'm not playing at that time. I think it'd be a great addition and would help the guild as a whole develop their build by being able to see it from an observers perspective.

Mini-games for when you're bored is something that I've wanted for a really long time. Even something like a mini-fishing game would be fun; then the records could be kept for the guild such as "who caught the biggest fish," "who won the most games," etc. etc.

One drawback with the "showing skillbarthingy". What if you dont want to give out your skillbra. Maybe you have a secret PvP build that you dont want to share when you play RA or TA. This will just increase the numbers of players using gimmick builds. They should make up own builds!

Cute Sjeng :P

Anyway, if the player had the option to turn her/his skillbar visible or private, I would be more open to this, but otherwise, instead of seeing "Group looking for B/P ranger" We would see this: "GLF B/P/CA/DL/DS/SS/RS/WD Ranger Only"

Owie, that hurts my thoughts just thinking of that!
